RTE 25% admissions related online form filling would begin from February 16, 2022 on the official website - student.maharashtra.gov.in.

Right to Education or Maharashtra RTE Admission 2022 dates have been released by the School Education and Sports Department of Government of Maharashtra. According to the RTE 25% admissions schedule, parents can fill the online application form from February 16, 2022. More details can be accessed on the official website – student.maharashtra.gov.in.  

Maharashtra RTE Admission 2022 announcement has been made by State School Education Minister Varsha Gaikwad. In an official tweet, she informs everyone that the tentative schedule has been released and parents can now consider applying for these admissions. 

The tweet reads, "Important Note: The probable schedule of RTE 25% admission process for the academic year 2022-23 has been published. Accordingly, from Wednesday 16th February 2022, parents will be able to fill online application." (translated from Marathi)

Stakeholders may please note that this date mentioned above is the revised one. Earlier, the form filling was supposed to begin from February 1, 2022, however, due to some unavoidable circumstances, it has been delayed to the mentioned date.  

Maharashtra RTE Admission 2022 are being done like every year. Under this, 25% of seats are reserved in private schools with regards to Right to Education Act. However, these seats are only reserved for students belonging to economically backward sections. The idea behind this is to make education affordable for all students in Maharashtra without any discrimination or financial constraints.
